Mc Donald’s Opens tommorow

This is also a back dated Entry just so that I can keep this up-to-date.

We went to the Forum for dinner on Monday the 18th of October. First we saw a lit up Mc Donald’s neon light then a big poster. magically drawn in the direction all the arrows pointed in we followed them and reached a sparkling brand new polished glass entrance of Mc Donald’s. We saw people inside. But alas they were just testing the decorations and lights for their launch tommorow.

So beaten at our task we headed back to good old trustworthy KFC. Not to say that we didn’t have fun
Anyways we headed back home and didn’t go to McD’s for another week coz people flocked to it like crazy due to it’s novelty value. every time we went to the Forum we saw at least a queue of a couple of hundred people waiting to eat at Mc Donald’s.

Pretty Stupid!!! I know.

Dandia Night

Another outdated Entry from 16th of October.
We (Ujjwal, Amit and me) were supposed to meet up and head for this Navratri festival at Palace grounds.

Ujwall told us to get there 8:30 ‘ish but we got late or so we thought.

We got to MG Road at 9 and asked Ujjwal for directions on the phone. Ujjwal told Amit the directions pretty vaguely which made us circle around Palace grounds (a sizable area) a couple of times before we finally got to the place. We bought entry passes and were pleased that the place was at least alive. The main podium was huge with 3 separate set of drums and a electronic drum pad apart from the other instruments. Ujjwal showed up at around 11:30 we found a couple of friends of his and had a blast of a time. We tried to join a larger group of people but that didn’t really pan out too well. Any ways exhausted we set out to drop Shalini, Manish, and then head home.
The rain gods being as generous they had on me saw occasion to prove themselves once again and hence we got drenched before we finally reached MG road. We stopped over at this all night tea stall which also served noodles and lil tid-bits to eat. we had some stuff and took shelter in a petrol pump
we hung out there talking about life the universe and everything in general till the rain let up a bit and went home.

Kinda dissapointing ending but it was a fun night.

Keyless Slumber Party

This entry is a bit out of date but it took place on 12th October.

We went to KFC for Dinner. I in turn being the ‘Joker’ that i am played a practical joke on myself to see what happened if I forgot my keys there.

Anyways. That day Shridhar had forgotten his own keys at home and we were both Homeless so to say.
Mrinal being the generous patron that he is invited us over to his place to slumber and the rest as they say is history. We picked out our choice Bike and car models from Auto Magazines and pretended to play the guitar and sing.
We left awfully early without even thanking Mrinal’s mom for having us over (without her knowledge since she had gone to sleep when we got there and left by the time she woke up). My apologies….

Anyways I woke up and got going to KFC.. Apparently they don’t open till 11 (I got there at 8). I strolled around and indulged in some mindless nature photography and some stupid shots of Hosur road in the early morning Traffic. I did find some grand apartments next to ‘The Forum’. I was finally let into the completely empty KFC Any ways the shift Manager finally came in at 9 and was very helpful. She gave me back my keys and reminded me to visit them more often
After that the rest of the day was bland by comparison.

Finally I had a real weekend. Did Laundry, Went Dancing, fixed my website, Slept in late, Caught up on my reading. Did everything that had been pending since the last 3 months.
